Dhiman Sen, Addl. General Manager (IFX); JP Pathak, Addl. General Manager (HR); VK Vohra, Addl. General Manager (IFX), RC Dubey, Sr. DGM (IFX) and other senior executives were also present on this occasion,.

The website developed in-house by BHEL has facilities in Hindi as well as English for the applicants and is very user friendly. When the applicant fills in the on-line application format after logging on the website, he gets all information related to qualification, age etc. immediately. The applicant can take print out of application receipt also immediately. The website contains all pre-requisitions related to the vacancies as qualifications, age, reservation etc.

Applicants for different trades of Artisan must have passed ITI with National Apprentice Certificate after doing 10th Standard. Eligible applicants will have to undergo written examination and interview for selection and a training for 30 months will be given to those who are selected against these vacancies before absorption.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.(BHEL) Haridwar has two manufacturing plants:-

Heavy Electrical Equipment Plant (HEEP) and Central Foundry Forge Plant (CFFP).

The Heavy Electricals Equipment Plant (HEEP) located in Haridwar, is one of the major manufacturing plants of BHEL. The core business of HEEP includes design and manufacture of large steam and gas turbines, turbo generators, hydro turbines and generators, hydro turbines and generators, large AC/DC motors and so on.

Central Foundry Forge Plant (CFFP) is engaged in manufacture of Steel Castings: Upto 50 Tons Per Piece Wt & Steel Forgings: Upto 55 Tons Per Piece Wt.

HEEP & CFFP have been awarded ISO-9001 and ISO-9002 certificates respectively. HEEP & CFFP units of BHEL, Haridwar have also been awarded ISO-14001.
