Lord Ganesha is one deity Bollywood seems to have immense faith in. Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations were on in full swing in Bollywood, with stars like Salman and Riteish Deshmukh performing the pooja.
Nana Patekar religiously celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi every year. He is personally involved in decorating his house and doing pooja. Anybody who wants to can visit his home and take darshan.
Salman Khan and his family also celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi. In the picture, Salman, with his nephew perched on his shoulder, and his stepmother Helen dance in the procession that winds its way to the sea for the immersion of the idol.
The Kapoors celebrate the festival at RK Studio every year. Other celebrities like Jeetendra and Rakhi Sawant also celebrate the festival religiously. Riteish went one step more and kept a Ganesha idol with him wherever he went—even when he went to visit cancer patients during a special screening of Dhamaal organised for them.
