Shekhar, who always wanted to be a good dancer, has finally started learning so that he can put on his dancing shoes for his forthcoming album and films.
Shekhar Suman is the latest actor to learn salsa. He is learning salsa and jive from Rajiv Goswami, who choreographed Shekhar’s music videos and the movie Cash.
Shekhar, who always wanted to be a good dancer, has finally started learning so that he can put on his dancing shoes for his forthcoming album and films. The actor currently practices salsa religiously for
almost two hours every day.
Says Shekhar, “I think it’s never too late to learn anything in life. I am quite passionate about learning salsa as it is quite exciting. It’s a different art form and I am very happy to be learning it.
Salsa requires coordination of the mind and the body because it is a very sensuous dance form. It’s very different from free dancing and requires a lot of training.
Presently, Shekhar is also gearing up to go to the North Pole to shoot for his third music video. Says he, “I am all set to go to the North Pole soon to shoot for a music album. I am preparing myself to shoot in temperatures as low as minus 35 degree Celsius.
