Ganguly has touched his best form in the tournament in Hyderabad on Saturday and Kolkata's bowling will be bolstered by the inclusion of fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar. Shoaib himself publicly stated that he would be playing against the Daredevils.
"Shoaib's fitness will be assessed on Tuesday morning. He is coming on very well. He is feeling confident. But we will take a final call only then," Buchanan said.
Asked who the speedster would replace, Buchanan said "That will also be decided on Tuesday."
Shoaib, who joined the team only last week after the PCB suspended his five-year ban for a month, is yet to turn out in the IPL.
